Gary W. Bowersox is President and CEO of Gem Hunters Corporation (www.TheGemHunters.com ) and GeoVision, Inc. (www.gems-afghan.com ) which operates The Gem Hunters gem and jewelry museum and store in Waikiki. Gary is a gemologist, world traveler (88 countries) lecturer and author. He has explored Afghanistan for thirty-five years and has written two books, many articles and assisted in producing an award winning documentary film on Afghanistan. Currently he is the senior advisor on a USAID project to "Revitalize the Gem Industry of Afghanistan."

Gary is proud of the principles of Rotary and to be Chairman of the East Honolulu Clubs International Committee. He plans to assist in the expansion of Rotary International projects.
