CHRISTMAS CAROLING
East Honolulu Rotary will have its annual Christmas caroling on Thursday, December 20, at the following times and locations:

Parking: Park in front of the hospital. Parking stalls are open to all in the evenings.

CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES FOR PALOLO
[from Ruth Chang] The Magic of Christmas is seeing the smiles on the children's faces at Palolo Elementary when they receive the beautifully wrapped boxes (by YOU, ROTARIANS) stuffed with goodies. Thanks to all for the generous cash/check/item donations, and special thanks to our friends at KAHALA SUNRISE ROTARY for their help. Please note the following DATES:
Dec. 18 (Tuesday)
STARTING AT 2:30 PM at Palolo Elementary Cafeteria, the teachers will be stuffing the shoeboxes that you wrapped. If you have any additional items for the boxes, please bring them on that day to the school. Some INTERACTORS will also be joining us.
Dec 20 (Thursday)
STARTING ABOUT 10:00 AM, the school staff will be passing out boxes to the kids after their assembly.
CHRISTMAS PARTY
East Honolulu Rotary will have its annual Christmas party on Saturday, December 15, at Judy Saranchock’s home on 340 Portlock Rd. in Hawaii Kai. Don’t forget to bring a gift to exchange. Directions to Judy’s house were e-mailed earlier to the members.
KEIKI VISION SCREENING at PALOLO ELEMENTARY
A Keiki Vision Screening was conducted at Palolo Elementary School on November 14, 2007. Optometrist Reid Saito led a group of volunteers to conduct eye tests for the kids. As it turns out, a large number of kids needed follow up vision care. Thanks to the screening, their conditions were detected early.
