Palolo Storm Drain Project


The Rotary Club of East Honolulu~ assisted by Students from Kalani High School's Interact, Good Samaritan Church Palolo (includes scout troops), and Students from Mid Pacific Institute High School and lead by the RCEH's, fearless Community Service Chair Ginny Mead, cleaned, stenciled and reported problems for 150 storm drains in Palolo Valley, on April 25th, "Rotarian's at Work Day".

Rotary Club of East Honolulu was given the Good Neighbor Award in recognition for "improving the quality of life in our neighborhoods and communities". Awarded March 4th, from Mayor Mufi
